He realizado esta pieza con el fin de venderla a través de una subasta. El dinero obtenido irá integramente a Proactiva open arms; una ONG que rescata en el mediterraneo a los migrantes que arriesgan su vida en busca de un lugar más seguro donde vivir.
Mantengo conversaciones con algunas galerías para que ellos gestionen la subasta y que pueda llegar a más gente

I have done this work to make money in order to donate it to proactiva open arms. They are doing an amazing job rescueing those who risk their lives in their quest for a better place to live into, crossing the mediterranean sea in such an awful conditions.
I want to sell it through an auction and the whole ammount will go for these guys, that´s why I contacted some gallerys to make this process reaching to a wider audience.

The Crypt gallery

Me han concedido una residencia artística de una semana en Londres. Concretamente en The Crypt gallery, que como su nombre indica es una cripta subterranea donde hay unas cuantas personas enterradas. Parece ser que en su mejor momento hubo unas 500.
Puede que no suene muy atractivo, pero el sitio es una pasada.


I got an artist residency in London for one week. The place is called The crypt gallery because it is a crypt under Saint Pancras´church near King´s cross. There are some bodies buried in there and it seems there were five hundred at its peak.
It might not sound very appealing but the place is amazing and I would really recommend to visit it if you are in London.

I´m trying my best with the brushes.

Mad tea party (My very last painting at the moment)

No todo va a ser disfrutar de las gentes, del clima y de la gastronomía de Londres. También pinto cuadros en un estudio donde me rodeo de gente simpatiquísima que solo te saluda cuando los pisas un pie o cuando está borracha.

It´s not all about enjoying the people, the weather and the food from London. I´m painting pictures too in a space where I am surrounded by amazing people who don´t say hello unless they are drunk.

Mi próxima exposición

El día 5 de Diciembre muestro unos cuadros en una exposición colectiva en 5th Base, una galería en pleno centro de Londres. El que viva en Londres puede asistir al opening a las 18:30.

El que no, se perderá una ocasión única para estar rodeado de gente guapa y con estilo. Durará una semana.
