They call it gentrification, babe. 2018.

Originally this map depicted the city of London after the german bombings during the II world war. But I have changed it in a map of the London´s transformation in the ten years period I´ve been living here.
I draw with a red pen the new buldings and towers.
This piece was done within my residency in the Crypt gallery.


Este era un mapa de Londres tras la segunda guerra mundial. En él se apreciaba cómo muchos edificios habían sido derribados por las bombas alemanas. Yo lo he transformado en un mapa que muestra el Londres de los últimos diez años con todo el proceso de transformación urbanística que se está dando.
He dibujado con tinta roja los nuevos edificios.
Esta obra fue llevada a cabo mientras disfruté la residencia artística en la Crypt Gallery.
